Roadside Blooms

If you pay attention when you’re driving along a country road you might be amazed by the quanity and variety of blooms you’ll notice. As long as there’s enough room to pull-off of the road, and traffic isn’t too heavy, these blooms can provide some wonderful photo opportunities. While not as adventureous as a good hike or paddle, and certainly not providing much excercise, it can be a productive activity. Here are a few roadside blooms from late this morning.

Photographing flowers along the road can be a productive activity. Beware of traffic when photography along the side of busy roads.

Ditches that hold water or moisture can be especially productive.

Even weeds can have a pretty flower. Compelling nature photographs are where you find them.
