For the most part I’m a fan of rain. We have had a dry spring and summer and can really use the stuff. But does it have to pick the times and/or days I plan to do some nature photography?! I’m not against getting a little wet in the procuess of taking some photos. However, I’m not too fond of lightning. There in lies my primary concern. Paddle in the rain… no biggie. Hike in a shower… I’m good with that. Be out on the water in a kayak with lightning flashing… ummm no thank you. So you’ll excuse me if I get a little caustious when I look at the forecast and see 60% chance of thunderstorms. Oh well, I’ll play it by ear and see what happens the next day or two.
