When photographing the local wild horses I always try a few unexpected, heavily cropped compositions of these interesting animals. Occasionally I’ll get a result that I like, though honestly, not always. I suspect we’ve all seen theses kinds of shots published that were very successful but it isn’t an easy style to master. Here’s an attempt from a recent visit to the Rachel Carson Estuarine Reserve.
