Smokey Morning Adds Ambiance to Wild Horse Images

When the winds blow out of the southwest smoke from the Pender County forest fires covers the Crystal Coast. Early in the morning it can mix with fog and result in quite a thick cover. The other morning I was out in my kayak during a heavy fog/smoke period. I find its effect on photos of the wild horses interesting. Have a look for yourself.

The combination of smoke and fog can be quite thick at times in the morning.

Wild horses of the Crystal Coast.

Smoke and wild horses, quite a combination.

Fog combined with a black and white presentation results in a moody image.
