High-key Black & White of a Wild Horse

I was paddling the Rachel Carson Estuarine Reserve this morning and I see this horse standing alone, several hundreds of yards from the rest of the mustangs. I’m not sure what it was doing there… certainly not feeding… but it made for a unique photographic opportunity. I paddled around him looking for angles and just fell in love with the frontal view with heavy side-lighting When I got home I tweaked the raw file a bit and decided on a black & white presentation. I think it works, how about you?
