Hello Bob,

I’m a fellow CNPA Member, and came across your site while doing a bit of online research about photographing Wild Horses in NC (I’m near Charlotte), and checked out your blog. Love the loon shots, one of my favorite birds.

I was up in Maine for photography this past September, and was able to do some kayaking and photographing of loons myself, which was just exhilarating. Some shots here, if you’re interested:

In any case, great site and photos. Perhaps we can hook up to do some shooting of the horses. We’re thinking of heading out there toward the end of May.

Hi Donna! First, thanks for the kind words. They’re greatly appreciated. There are a few options for print purchases. On my Facebook page you may notice a “tab” called “shop,” by clicking on that you’ll be able to see all the prints I’m currently offering for sale. Another option is to visit the website and click on “Gallery” (http://carolinafootprints.com/index.php/2012/01/20/snowy-egret-on-a-winters-day/). That will take you to a section displaying the prints I’m offering for sale. Both of those methods allow a variety of size choices, media choices and the option for matting and/or framing. If there’s a shot that Gary likes that isn’t offered in the gallery drop me an email and I can make it avialable for him. Thanks for aksing.

It’s not that I don’t like sunrises and sunsets… I’ve been brain washed to not want to shoot them. It goes back a lot of years. I read a lot of “how to” books on the stock photography business. Nearly every one preached on not bothering to shoot sunrise and sunset photos as they were over done. Somehow I allowed myself to take that to heart. The last year or so I’ve shot a few of both.
